BIG NAMED ONE OF AMERICA’S TOP HOSPITALITY ARCHITECTS & DESIGNERS BY FORBES

Forbes has included BIG on their inaugural list of America’s Top Hospitality Architects & Designers, recognizing the firms that are shaping the future of hospitality design. The list highlights BIG’s Biosphere project, the eighth room at the Treehotel in Swedish Lapland – a hotel known for its uniquely designed cabins, each with a distinct identity that responds to and interacts with the surrounding forest. Designed in collaboration with Treehotel and Swedish ornithologist Ulf Öhman, the Biosphere cabin is enveloped by 350 bird houses, aiming to decrease the downward spiral of the bird population in the region while immersing guests in nature.
