BIOSPHERE RECOGNIZED AMONG THE WORLD'S MOST SPECTACULAR TREE HOUSES

BBC has included Biosphere at the Treehotel in Harads, Sweden, in its roundup of “10 of the world’s most spectacular tree houses,” following the project’s inclusion in Florian Seabeck’s Modern Tree Houses published by Taschen. Designed in collaboration with Treehotel and Swedish ornithologist Ulf Öhman, the Biosphere cabin brings 350 bird houses to the Harads village, with the mission to decrease the downward spiral of the bird population in the region. By wrapping the hotel room in an ecological habitat, guests are immersed in nature – providing the opportunity to experience birdlife in close proximity.
