BJARKE INGELS JOINS EXPERT PANEL TO JUDGE ICON'S INITIATIVE 99 GLOBAL ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION

North American 3D-printing construction technology company ICON has launched Initiative 99, a global architecture competition calling architects and designers to submit 3D-printed housing designs that can be built for under $99,000. A selection of winning designs will be built by ICON and showcased as models for future affordable housing. Bjarke Ingels will join an expert panel of architects, academics and policymakers to judge the competition, which is officially open for entries and offers a total prize of $1 million.
