BYRUMMONITOR HIGHLIGHTS NEW FOUNDATION'S EFFORTS TO BROADEN ACCESS TO ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION IN DENMARK

Danish trade publication Byrummonitor spotlights New Foundation, a student-led initiative working to make architectural education more accessible, highlighting the program’s early success and plans for national expansion. Supported by the Danish Arts Foundation, the Danish Association of Architects, FAOD, Dorte Mandrup, Architects Without Borders Denmark, and BIG, the program combines free courses, mentorship and practice visits to help aspiring architects navigate the admissions process. Following its first pilot program this year, 64% of participants were admitted to architecture schools across Denmark.
