To mark the 30th anniversary of the Suzhou Industrial Park – a collaborative development between China and Singapore – Vice Premier He Lifeng of China and Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore commemorated the occasion by planting a persimmon tree in the garden of the BIG-designed Suzhou Museum of Contemporary Art, located along the park’s waterfront. The tree symbolizes the continuous friendship and collaboration between the two countries.
