The Mandarin Oriental Residences in the Saadiyat Cultural District have been announced as Mandarin Oriental’s first residences in Abu Dhabi. Set in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s vibrant cultural hub, the development – designed by BIG with interiors by Lillian Wu – will feature 226 luxury residences that embrace the natural and traditional design elements of the United Arab Emirates. The project consists of two twin buildings that cascade towards the central corridor, framing the iconic Zayed National Museum. The exterior design adopts a smooth, curved architectural language to create a harmonious synergy with the surrounding architectural wonders in the Saadiyat Cultural District. Each home will be equipped with premium wellness facilities designed to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, including private swimming pools with uninterrupted views of the district’s cultural landmarks. Residents will have access to services, a theatre, a library, restaurants, patisseries, a gymnasium, and a games room. The Mandarin Oriental Residences Saadiyat Cultural District are scheduled for completion in 2028.
