The Twist at Kistefos served as the setting for Norwegian fashion brand ENVELOPE1976’s FORM IN MOTION presentation during Oslo Runway 2026. Featuring selected pieces from two seasons, the collection explored the relationship between fashion and architecture through architectural silhouettes, contrasting textures, and fluid movement. The Twist spans the Randselva river, combining bridge, gallery, and sculpture in a single form and twisting 90 degrees at its center to connect the park’s two riverbanks. Since opening in 2019, The Twist has hosted exhibitions, performances, and cultural events, continuing its role as a meeting point for art, architecture, and design.
