THE WALL STREET JOURNAL REPORTS ON TRANSFORMATION OF MIAMI’S COCONUT GROVE

05.02.2026

The Wall Street Journal spotlights Coconut Grove’s transformation from a sleepy bohemian enclave into one of Miami’s most sought-after neighborhoods. Marking a pivotal moment in this evolution, the BIG-designed Grove at Grand Bay was the first residential tower constructed in the neighborhood in over a decade. Rising 20 stories, the two towers twist at a 38-degree angle, optimizing views, maximizing outdoor space, and allowing for flexible floor plans while interacting with one another. The development, commissioned by Terra Group, features generous cantilevered balconies, a canopy of foliage featuring more than 150,000 plants and 500 trees, a swimming pool, spa, fitness center, kids playroom, and private dining room for residents.
